Old Inn...

Many years ago (more than 70~80), Karoun river of Ahwaz had enough depth for shipping! Merchants and businessmans could rest in this nice building. This is the terrace of second floor and they could observed disembark their cargoes...
Unfortunately I haven't let to enter to this place and take more shots,because it is under repaire!

@Scotfot: yes,but only this kind of boats! Karoun still is a big river,but fixed bridges and decrease of water level cause to ships that can not sailing in it!
you can see the old port (a little transigurationed in years) in this shot.
